NxGEN ELECTRONICS AND UNITED INNOVATIONS ENTER INTO JOINT VENTURE TO DEVELOP POWER SUPPLY TECHNOLOGY
San Diego, CA (October 31, 2012) – NxGEN Electronics, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacturing of next generation electronic packaging solutions, has entered into a memorandum of understanding as a framework for a partnership agreement with United Innovations, Inc. United Innovations has developed unique battery and solar technology solutions, and will work with NxGEN to develop and commercialize products. NxGEN has provided microelectronics power management solutions for customers that provide products for the military and industry, and has a ten year history of securing government funding for research and development of early stage technology. United Innovations invented and holds exclusive rights to a radioisotope micro-battery and ) solar Concentrating Photovoltaics (CPV)technology.
“NxGEN is excited to have this opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Ugur Ortabasi, the founder and owner of United Innovations, on these unique technologies and continue to enhance our new product development and build on our focus as a company that provides microelectronics power management and power supply solutions”, said Tri Le, president of NxGEN.
United Innovations has a patent pending beta-voltaic indirect conversion radioisotope (BICOR)battery , that has extremely long-life, and high energy density. United Innovations has also developed unique solar CPV technology solutions and a prototype. Both of these technologies have received interest and support from many industry leading companies. United Innovations, as part of a collaborative project with the Raytheon Company, built a High Concentration Photovoltaic test facility. “I look forward to working with NxGEN on developing and commercializing the battery and CPV solar technology, as well as working with them on the research and training of the High Concentration Photovoltaic test facility.” said Dr. Ugur Ortabasi.

NxGEN ELECTRONICS ENTERS INTO LONG TERM LEASE
September 15, 2012 (San Diego, California ) – NxGEN Electronics, a San Diego based company that provides microelectronic packaging solutions and product innovations, has entered into a 5 year lease extension till 2017 to remain a tenant at the TIERRASANTA Research Park.
NxGEN Electronics will maintain their offices and manufacturing and clean room facilities at 9771-C Clairemont Mesa Blvd., as part of the larger research park managed by HUDSON TIERRASANTA. NxGEN Electronics will utilize these facilities, including ~6,000 sq. ft. Class 10K clean room, to continue providing engineering and manufacturing solutions and products, as well as their continued research and development and commercialization of proprietary technology and cutting-edge products. “This research park is in an excellent location right off I-15, and will allow us to serve our customer base and to enhance further collaborations with the technology companies of San Diego and Orange County, California. We are pleased to extend this lease to provide stable facilities for our next 5 years of continued growth at a reasonable cost”, said Ron Casten, CFO of NxGEN Electronics.

Nitronex – High Volume Production Order
September 12, 2012
NxGEN Electronics Inc, announced today that it has received a high-volume production order from Nitronex Corporation for automated assembly services in support of Nitronex’s industry-leading Gallium Nitride (GaN) Power Amplifier devices. The production services will be performed at NxGEN’s San Diego facility.
“We are excited to offer Nitronex, a leading innovator in GaN based RF solutions, the benefits of our world-class expertise in automated volume manufacturing,” commented Sam Sadri, NxGEN’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We have been working and growing with Nitronex since early 2005, and are very pleased to have achieved this important milestone with our valued customer.
